| Home Environment (referred to as HEn) is
available to Westside students before and/or after regular school hours.
Toddlers remain in their classrooms for HEn to provide a sense of
continuity with their teachers.
Students in Primary and Elementary levels moves to classes lead by
Gail McAdams, Sasha Harding and Eve Summers.
Activities include story time, singing, aerobic games, arts and
crafts,
naps (for the younger children),

afternoon snack, and playtime.

Children participate in life skill development which includes sharing
the tasks of preparing and presenting snacks and cleaning-up after
themselves and being responsible for their environment --- just like at
home!
Elementary students have a separate room for quiet study or may join
the other children.
Admission is based on availability and limited to Westside students
only. The HEn Program is available until 6:30 p.m. every day
except public holidays.
